Khoon

Film, Dur. 5’33, 2012-2020

Khoon was produced from over thirty minutes of super8 footage, various photographic documentation and MRI scans. The sound recorded from a remembrance ceremony for my Great Aunt in 2017 has been looped for the film, allowing the film to exist in the present. The film visually evidences the trajectory of family history from India to East Africa to London, between the 1900s to the 1970s.
